ABOUT MARI PILI REY
Mari Pili Rey, originally from
Lima, Peru, is a visual artist, author
and illustrator who loves expressing her humor through her stories and illustrations.
Her artwork has been displayed in various galleries across Ontario.
Angelo’s Christmas Present (2018), was her debut book as both an
author and illustrator. She lives in Hamilton, Ontario, where
she works from her home studio alongside her family, her dog
Jasper— “The Trouble Maker”— and
her cat Molly. Her passion for writing and illustrating children’s books comes from her deep love of bringing smiles to their faces.
